Half Marathon
Description
Join us for the Erie Half and 5k!
The Hometown Race Series features half marathons and 5k distance events in outlying communities outside the Denver and Boulder metro areas.
LOOK UP! At the Erie event, we often see the early morning skies with dotted with delightfully colorful hot-air balloons.
Whatever distance you're ready to tackle, we'll be there with you to celebrate at the finish line! This is one of the few 5k events where FINISHER MEDALS are awarded to each participant. Go home with proof of your pride and show off that bling!
Swag
All registrants receive a short-sleeve, gender-specific Tee-Shirt or a tank top (while quantities last you get to choose which you'd like)! CLICK HERE for sizing/fabric information.
Every Finisher in the 5k and Half Marathon receive a FINISHER MEDAL. 2024's medal is pictured. Shirt image coming soon.

The Erie Half & 5k is hosting a FOOD DRIVE for Boulder County's Sister Carmen. Everyone who brings 5 non-perishable items to the food drive on race day will be entered into the race-day raffle where you can win tech tees, gift certificates and more! Here is a current most-needed items list from Sister Carmen:
- Canned Beans: black, pinto, refried, garbanzo, white beans
- Toiletries: Deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, bar soap, lotion, menstrual pads
- Grains: rice, gluten-free items, pastas, cereals, crackers

Hometown Race Series
This event is one of a series of THREE 'Hometown' race events. Truly in the BACKYARD of some sweet Colorado towns, join us for 1, All or somewhere in between. You'll find friendly staff and volunteers - probably from that very town. Well measured and marked supported courses and finisher medals for ALL - this is a family -friendly way to spend your weekend!
